Sustainability Policy.

Purpose

We want to run our business responsibly and reduce our impact on the environment where we reasonably can. This policy sets out our approach as a small, office and digitally-based communications and marketing agency.

Our approach

We recognise that our direct environmental footprint is modest, but we believe small businesses still have a part to play. We aim to take practical, proportionate steps and to improve over time rather than make claims we cannot stand behind.

What we do

  • Energy and workplace. We use energy efficiently in our workplace, favour energy-efficient equipment, and reduce waste, reusing and recycling where facilities allow.

  • Digital footprint. We are mindful of the energy cost of digital services and seek to build efficient websites and choose reputable hosting and cloud providers.

  • Travel. We favour remote meetings where they are as effective as travelling, and we keep non-essential travel to a minimum.

  • Paper and procurement. We work digitally by default to reduce paper use, and we consider environmental impact when choosing suppliers and equipment.

  • Our people. We encourage our team to suggest and adopt more sustainable ways of working.

Our clients

Where it is relevant and welcome, we are happy to help clients consider the sustainability of their own digital and marketing activity, for example through efficient website builds and responsible media choices.

Improvement and review

We will keep our approach under review, set proportionate goals as our business grows, and update this policy at least annually. Responsibility for it sits with the Group’s Board.
